Read Write Spell – reading, writing, spelling and grammar at a range of levels (for native English speakers)

Everyday Maths – basic maths skills for every day including weighing and measuring, calculating discounts

Beginner Computer and Intermediate Computer –  basic computer skills, computer terms and computers for work (these courses are for students attending other sessions with us, or who have problems with reading and writing).

ESOL Read Write Spell –  New Zealand English for life and work (for speakers of other languages), reading, writing and pronunciation.

Academic English/IELTS/OET – Higher level reading, writing, listening and speaking for speakers of other languages to pass IELTS or OET, progress to higher level study or for business.

Manage My Money – for shopping, budgeting, saving, managing debt, and planning for the future. Runs once a term.

Digital Skills for Life – this course covers the skills needed to use a Chromebook, Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets and Slides, working in the cloud and keeping safe online. A $60 fee applies as learners can keep the Chromebook at the end of the course. This course will run at our centre once a term. Please call for more information.

Find Strength in Uncertainty: Strategies for Stress – Learn about what’s going on in your brain when you are stressed, and discover ways to recover from stress and setbacks. Runs at different venues once a term

Learner Licence – Help with the Road Code for passing your Learner Licence Theory, for people who have problems with reading. Runs once a term.

Work Readiness – Prepare a CV & cover letter, use online job search tools, build interview skills, and learn about your employment rights and responsibilities. Runs twice a year.
