Read Write Spell: Reading & understanding, writing & spelling; learn what you want to learn at your own pace
Pasifika: reading, writing, listening and speaking English with a Pasifika flavour
Everyday Maths: for shopping, budgeting, discounts, interest rates & work skills
Computer Beginner: start from scratch with Windows and the Internet
Computer Intermediate: focus on computer skills for work including email, applying for jobs on line, CV and cover letters
These courses are designed for people who have trouble with reading and writing and are not suitable for those who are very literate.
Learner Licence: Learn the Road Code to sit your Learner Licence
Runs once a term for five weeks, two sessions a week: 9.30 to 11.30 Tuesdays and 10am to 12 noon Fridays. Learners must attend all sessions. This course is designed for people who have trouble with reading and writing and is not suitable for those who are very literate.
Kiwi Korero: conversational English for second language speakers
IELTS/Academic English/OET: higher level reading, writing, listening and speaking to pass IELTS or OET or to progress to higher level study
Prepare for the Police Test: reading, writing, numeracy, verbal and abstract reasoning for the Police or Armed Forces testing
Writing for ESOL Police Recruits: build your writing skills for CFIT and Police College
Workplace Communication: giving and understanding instructions, negotiating, Health and Safety documentation
