Adult Literacy tutors are trained specialists, who must first attend a part time course, then by support and mentoring through supervised practice in our centre, gain a NCALNE (National Certificate of Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education), either Vocational or Educator.

Tutors find the work challenging  and extremely rewarding and, as part time tutoring can fit into a life with other responsibilities, such as family or another part time job, it is a flexible way to help people in their own community.
