It goes right to the basics of how to learn, rendering the unfathomable process of brain and memory in a simple way that anyone can understand. Relevant, practical activities are interspersed including old favourites such as Kim’s game. The book also distills the essential advice on goal-setting and recording of progress. Any literacy scheme would find it useful to have multiple copies available for their tutors and learners, though its usefulness will be to a much wider educational field.
