ESOL Read Write Spell – New Zealand English for life and work (for speakers of other languages), reading, writing and pronunciation.
These classes range from those who do not read and write in their mother tongue, and are learning these skills as they learn English, right up to those who have qualifications in their mother tongue but do not have the skills they need to converse or read and write in English.
We interview learners to decide which groups would be the best for them.
We also offer IELTS Preparation classes for the top level of ESOL learners.
Morning sessions are 9.30am to 12 noon (or 10am to 12 noon for some groups) and afternoon sessions are 12.30 to 2.30.
Learners can attend between 2 and 5 sessions a week depending on their skill level and availability. We only tutor during the school terms.
We also provide numeracy and computer courses, as well as a Learner Licence Theory course, for those who have enough skills in English.
Sessions are free to learners who are 16 or over, not in full-time education, and a NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident.
