Do you or members of your family need to use email? Search on the internet? Keep safe online? Apply for jobs or use government services online? Create and edit documents? Save and find documents stored in the Cloud? Use Zoom?

Literacy Waitakere is offering a 28-hour Digital Skills For Life course that will cover these topics and more. After the course, you can keep the Chromebook and its case, and a workbook that you can work through in class or on your own.

The course runs once a term, two sessions a week.

This course is for:

  • New Zealand Citizens and residents
  • People not in full-time study
  • People over 16 years old
  • People who have NZQA qualifications no higher than NCEA L2

There is a $60 fee for this course. It must be paid in advance or at the first session. 

We also offer beginner and intermediate computer courses for Windows-based computers. These are intended for those with minimal digitial skills and who have difficulty with reading and writing. Contact us for details.
